On the effects of medical cupping therapy (myofascial decompression) for the treatment of soft tissue (muscular) injuries and increased flexibility (“range of motion.”):

The study found *significant* improvements after just one treatment with medical cupping therapy over self-administered therapies, which included a moist heat pack and foam roller.
