This was from 2009, and co-authored by Dr. James Adams and the late Dr. Jeff Bradstreet (and others). It's one of so very many connecting (but of course, ahem, not "correlating") ASD with metals (and of course, then, ultimately: their source). I simply do not understand why this doesn't get more traction (or treatment) in the mainstream.:
“The correlation analysis found multiple significant correlations of severity of autism and the urinary excretion of toxic metals, such that a higher body burden of toxic metals was associated with more severe autistic symptoms.”
