Autism IS Medical. The poorer the condition of the gut, the greater the expression of "autistic" symptoms.

"Our findings suggest that the severity of gastrointestinal symptoms and severity of autism might be related to increased intestinal permeability in ASDs children."

NB: Elevated zonulin an indicator of "leaky gut." Gluten and dysbiosis caused by "bugs" (bacteria, yeast and parasites) affect zonulin levels. AND, it goes beyond "Autism." Allergies, Asthma, Crohn's, IBS and more.
